My experiences with various online service providers.

Vultr

I created an account, tried linking my credit card to continue with creating a VPS but it was denied several times. I double-checked that I didn't enter something incorrectly, but in the end Vultr didn't want my money... I guess? So I deleted my account.

Porkbun

Porkbun had no issues with my credit card. ;) My other domains are registered with Cloudflare but I've always heard good things about Porkbun, and I don't use Cloudflare for anything other than domain registration and DNS, so I thought let's give Porkbun a try.

Coming from the hyper sleek Cloudflare interface with a million buttons and tidbits everywhere, it was kind of nice to have a much reduced interface to deal with. Though I've already gone and added some custom CSS with Stylus to make the DNS editor easier to use.

The DNS editor being in a sidebar is a bold and bad choice. It should be a full page.

Aside from that I do like that all the important information of the domains are front and center. Expiration date, renewal status, WHOIS privacy, etc. all readily available.

Nice job Porkbun, so far so good.
